Navigating endings and new beginnings
Have you ever finally ended (or thought about ending) something, got nervous and excited about the new beginning...only to find the transition incredibly bumpy, and the new beginning somehow flat, or, even worse, with just the same problems as before?
We're generally not good at endings. In the modern world, that is. Often we rush into them, eager to get rid of what is hurting or not working. We shudder and push away what we no longer want, do our best to forget about it, and search eagerly for the next thrill.
Rarely do we honour this powerful transition. Rarely do we honour the letting go. The grief. The learnings. The gifts. Rarely do we take ownership of our part in proceedings. Even more rarely do we sink into the wisdom and discomfort of that precious pause between ending and beginning. The pause between the exhale and the inhale. The crunchy yet exquisite - if we let it - moment between the darkness and the light.
Modern life teaches us to get busy, to rush on, to move on to the next shiny thing. To think bigger, better, faster.
I believe there's a different way, and nature, autumn and winter are the BEST teachers!
Look outside. Now is the time to go slow. To honour endings. To fully work through them, emotionally and physically. To let them go well, like the trees shedding their leaves. To sit with the darkness. The crunchiness, the discomfort. To look inwards, rather than outwards. To ask:
🔥 What do I need, to nourish myself this winter?
🔥 What seeds do I want to be planting, to flourish in spring?
🔥 What truth have I been unwilling to face?
🔥 What is it I actually need to let go of, to be completely free?
🔥 What support do I need?
Winter is often a time we either push through, push away the darkness and fill it with light, or we resist and moan and dream away our days waiting for spring. I invite you to do it differently this year!
I invite you, this year, to explore embracing winter. To embrace the darkness. To sit with what is there. To allow endings to compost. To nourish the soil - your inner compost, as it were - ready for spring. This is a wilder way. And you don't have to do it alone.
In Wild Women's Wisdom you'll be supported between now and Imbolc (February) or Beltane (May) to winter well. To dive into your inner wildness, with rich, tender, hearty support. You'll have access to seasonal online wild workshops focusing on different aspects of "untaming" yourself, to be wild and thrive; powerful, tender and thought-provoking group coaching sessions where you'll get support, coaching and guidance with anything going on in your life; and embodiment sessions to help you to slow down, drop into your body, let go of stress and tap into your inner wild wisdom.
Spaces are filling! We start November 10th and the wild portal closes on Friday 31st October, or earlier if all spaces are filled before then.
If you're ready to winter differently this year. To honour endings and transitions and nurture new beginnings differently, wildly, I invite you to join us.
